Véronique is an agronomist with an initial specialization in physico-chemistry (near infrared spectrometry) and optical sensors for agriculture. Her main career has been carried out at INRAE (25 years) and she also took a position of Professor at the faculty of agronomy in Montpelier (L’institut Agro-Montpellier Supagro), as the co-chair of the AgroTIC major (2004-2011). In 2013-2019, she was department head of environmental technology departement at INRAE (formally Irstea). Since 2017, she is the director of the #DigitAg Lab, an interdisciplinary institute dedicated to digital agriculture. She is elected member of the French Academy of Technologies (https://www.academie-technologies.fr/en/).
