She received her Ph.D. at the Bioinformatics/Systems Biology Program at Keio University, and continued her research on computational cell modeling combining with organ-level metabolome analysis at the medical school of Keio University as a Research Assistant Professor. She then undertook a postdoc at stem cell bioengineering laboratory at University of Toronto focusing on developing a novel methodology to simulate the gene regulatory network in dynamic heterogeneity and the stem cell fate. She started her career at The Systems Biology Institute (SBI) in Tokyo in 2015 to develop a solution and a platform to predict and understand the living systems. She is serving as a senior researcher at SBI and a director of research at SBX Corporation to apply the platform-driven science in business. In 2020, she was appointed as CEO of the Vancouver-based entity, SBX BioSciences, Inc. to further expand the research and business in platform-driven predictive biology and healthcare.
